Ferdinandh Cabrera started his media career when he joined the ABS-CBN Network as a regional TV news reporter in 2004 after his graduation at the University of Southern Mindanao in Kabacan, North Cotabato.
In 2007, he decided to shift as a freelance journalist, but GMA Network, another leading TV network in the Philippines picked him up to become their local TV stringer.
Aside from working in TV, he also contributes photo and stories for print and online locally and internationally.
He works alone while handling a multi-tasking work, as professional cameraman, photographer, video editor, writer and as the reporter himself.
Ferdinandh also caters field-producing job for foreign journalists who have story assignment in Central Mindanao.
As a Mindanaon journalist, he is for peace reportage. Mindanao in the Southern part of this country is treated only as defense beat of other reporters where armed conflict and other atrocities are major stories.
